Abstract

The implementation of Islamic Education cannot be separated from the availability of adequate financial capacity so that the implementation of teaching and learning programs can run well. Moreover, non-formal Islamic Education institutions such as Tahfidz House. This research was conducted at Rumah Tahfidzul Quran (RTQ) Bukittinggi which aims to find out the fundraising strategy of RTQ Markazul Quran Bukittinggi in raising funds from donors so that it can meet the operational needs at RTQ. Data were collected through interviews with managers and donors. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of connecting data with the focus of the problem, identifying patterns from the data, uniting patterns so as to answer the focus of the problem. This article found that the success of fundraising is determined by the expertise of the fundraising team in planning and implementing fundraising activities through a number of varied programs. Through this research, it can be a recommendation for managers of Tahfidz House or Islamic Education Institutions in general in managing fundraising activities in their institutions.
