Values education is an important part of the educational process, aimed at shaping the character, morals and personality of learners. In its implementation, various appropriate approaches are required so that the values taught can be understood, internalised and put into practice. This article discusses various approaches to values education, such as the values instillation approach, moral development, values clarification, values analysis and action learning. Each approach has its own characteristics that can be adapted to the needs of learners and the learning context. Furthermore, the success of values education is also influenced by the synergy between the family, school and community environments, as well as the ability to adapt to changing times and technology. With the right, integrated approach, values education is expected to produce individuals of good character, high ethical standards and a sense of responsibility in social life.
